Have you registered for the Family Campout yet?
Don't get left out, register today!
Last day to pay for both the registration and optional water park is June 8!
The Cub Scouts Family Campout will be held June 22-24 at Lake Fairfax. VA. The event is open to all families (including scouts registering in the fall and their families and Boyscouts and their families).
Fees for participation are below:
Food is included with registration, along with organized games, den activities, a campfire, and a whole lot of fun.
The water park at Lake Fairfax will surely be a main attraction this year. Cost for visiting the water park is $11/person and is not included in the registration.
Since we need to order the water park tickets as a group to take advantage of the $11 rate, all payments ater June 8, must be paid directly to the water park facility.
For quick reference, the total costs for participating adults attending camp and the water park is $41 and for scouts it is $36.
Other activities during the campout weekend include kayaking, hiking, and paddle boats. There is also fishing available at the lake with a Virginia fishing license. Details regarding obtaining a Virginia fishing license can be found on the Lake Fairfax websitehttps://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/lakefairfax
Or by contacting Lake Fairfax staff (contact information is on the website).
For a full listing of Lake Fairfax's activities, check out pricing on the following website: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/lakefairfax or by contacting Lake Fairfax staff (contact information on the website). There is a skateboarding park and the ability to bike, roller skate or use a scooter on the property. We encourage all campers to use proper safety gear when participating in these or any other activities. Safety First, Safety Always!
Use PayPal to pay ASAP, especially for the water park by June 8. Choose friends and family option and add a note with your name, event, and scouts name.
All families should arrive between 2-pm on Friday and plan to leave by 11am on Sunday. We are asking each family to bring 3 one-gallon jugs of water as a donation.
