Boy Scout Troop 1657 was founded in 1982 and is chartered by the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Troop 1657 is a youth-led. Youth leaders plan and execute their own program with adult support, guidance and participation. Our mission is to develop the Character, Faith and Citizenship of each Scout in the program through the coordinated collaboration between well-trained adult leaders and Scouts who mentor other Scouts. Troop meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, 7pm, at the Worship Center, 600 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774, room 2007.
