I am excited to share that the Congressional Black Staff Association (CBA) will be conducting a tour of the United States Capitol building just for D.C. Boy Scouts on Wednesday, May 17 beginning at 5:30 P.M. Please share this information with your Boy Scouts.
In addition, the CBA has arranged for a member of Congress, and fellow Eagle Scout, U.S. Representative Donald McEachin to meet with and speak to our scouts. This activity will fulfill requirements for the Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge.RSVPs are required to attend. So please RSVP by replying to this email or send an email to me by Friday, May 12, with the name of the scout(s) attending, and contact information -- email and phone number -- for their parent/guardian so we can provide additional event details.
The CBA has also offered to work with the scouts on other merit badge requirements. If you have any other questions, please contact me directly.
