Troop Family,
Recently, there have been a few prayer requests from families that have, and are still, contributing to the scouting program. It is known by all Christians that praying together is stronger than prayer by yourself. In Matthew 18:19-20 it reads, "And I tell you more: whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them." I believe that these families would greatly appreciate it if you pray for them through this difficult time. The following families have asked for a prayer request:
The Benson Family - ASM Stewart Benson's wife was admitted into the hospital on April 22.
The Gates Family - ASM Harvey Gates lost of his mother
The Gray Family - ASM Alvin Gray transitioned to heaven the morning of April 23. The gray family has heavily contributed to the scouting program. His son, Marcus was the 27th eagle scout of Troop 1657. His wife, Pamela, played a major role in lifting Cub Scouts off the ground in the early 90's.
We wish these families our deepest condolences.
