Troop Family,

Important Notice about Summer Camp 2016 Registration

Troop 1657 will be attending Camp Pipsico the week of July 10 – 16, 2016, so camp registration is already underway. Due to the snow closures and the Winter Campout we were unable to collect the required deposit for some who are interested in taking advantage of the early discount. We were able to get an extension and this Friday will be the last day to pay the $25 early discount deposit.

The fees are as follows:

$255 early discount – if $25 deposit paid by this FRI 2/26 and final payment is made by 3/25/16.

$275 regular fee – if final paid by May 20th

$300 late registration – if total /balance is made after May 20^th.

$115 – fee for adult leaders (there is no discount available for adults)

Please note the following:

· Any scout who attended Fall Camporee has a $25 credit that can be applied to summer camp. If you intend to use this credit for camp, and specifically for

the early discount deposit, you must email Terry Christian of the finance team & cc the Troop (see below) by no later than this Thursday 5pm to request that this credit be applied. Please specifically state if you want to use the credit for the early discount deposit or to just apply it to the overall balance and go with the regular payment price.

· Emails regarding a scout’s choice on when to apply the camp credit must be sent to ttchristian@verizon.net with a cc to fbcgtroop1657@gmail.com

· A list of scouts who have paid the early discount deposit will be finalized by this Friday night and sent off to Camp Pipsico. Scouts may still register after this Friday, but will not be eligible for the early discount.

· All deposits are non-refundable (as per Camp Pipsico). If you are unsure of your summer plans at this time, then it may be worth it to just do the regular registration.

· All payments must be made to the Troop as Camp Pipsico will not accept any individual payments.
