Hello Troop Family,
I apologize for not having the announcements up sooner. Below are the weekly announcements:
Patrol Meeting:
Troop Elections will take place on Friday, April 21, 2017. Please arrive by 7pm sharp for the opening ceremony. Patrols will be dismissed to their meeting rooms at 7:15. Patrols are to report to rooms 2011 - 2012 by 8:15 for elections. Please see links below to have your name added to the ballot for election consideration. An electronic ballot will also be provided for scouts who are unable to attend the meeting on Friday.
The following positions are available:
Scribe, Quartermaster, Trainer, OA Rep, Librarian, Scribe, Instructor Outdoor Ethics Guide. Position descriptions can be found here: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/boyscouts/pdf/Troop_Leadership_Positions.pdf
All interested Scouts should complete the form at the link below in order to have their names added to the ballot:
Fingerprinting:
There are two opportunities for fingerprinting: 4/21 (Friday) will be at the Worship Center and 4/22 (Saturday) will be at the Ministry Center. As a reminder, all adults (16 and older) that interact with kids must be fingerprinted.
If you received an email stating that you need to be fingerprinted again, this is because the church is needs more information from you before you are considered cleared to serve.
*It is very important that we work together to ensure that volunteers register and do not walk in without an appointment.*

After you have registered for your time slot, you will receive an email with the next step of the process.
As a reminder if you do not have fingerprints on file and do not complete by 4/30 you will no longer be eligible to serve in the Boyscout Ministry until this activity is completed.
Troop Merit Badge Day:
Please note that the Troop will host a Merit Badge Day on April 22, 2017 at the WC in rooms 2109 - 2112. Please see the attached Flyer for more information. Scouts and Parents may sign up by clicking on the link http://doodle.com/poll/snh4qqxw324ebe5n

Camp Cards:
The “Camp Card” fundraising program is back!
This initiative is designed to help Scouts earn their way to Summer Camp and Day Camp. Units participating in the 2017 program will earn up to 50% commission, ($2.50) on each $5 Camp Card they sell. Please see ASM Taylor at upcoming meetings for more information on how to obtain the cards.

This will not be a Troop activity, any scout that attends will be part of another Crew once onsite at the camp
