Hello troop,
Below are the weekly announcements:
Troop Meeting: On Friday, June 9th, we will have a PLC meeting and run patrol meetings simultaneously. We will begin with the opening ceremony at 7pm on the bridge. Patrols will be dismissed to meetings and each PL or ASPL should report for the PLC meeting.
FBCG Health Expo: On Saturday, June 10, FBCG will host their annual Health Expo
1. This Thursday, June 8 from 6pm to 9pm we have been requested to help transport and stuff the give away bags for the Health Expo. We need two to four scouts from each Patrol to assist with this. Sign up is below:
2. This Saturday, June 10th is the Health Expo from 9am to 3pm. We are in need of scouts to assist with the activities in two our time slots as well as helping senior citizens with their groceries. Sign up is below:
Scouts are to be in Class B uniforms, also, we need several adult leaders/parents to supervise the scouts throughout the day. Please consider volunteering with your scout. Room assignments are in the sign up.
Family Campout:
It’s time for our annual Family Campout. Please enjoy this time with your entire family for a fun filled weekend. Please see the email that was sent with details for important forms that must be completed along with payment immediately.
6/23 - 6/25 Family Campout (Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts) Any scouts interested in being a den chief should attend this. Please sign up in the link below also:
Deadline to submit payment and to register is 6/9/17
Board of Review 6/16
Our next BOR will be Friday, June 16th. Scouts should begin preparing for SMC’s and the final BOR. Please complete your final requirements to become eligible for the BOR. Sign Up sheets will be sent shortly.
Troop Basketball Tournament: RESCHEDULED
Scouts have worked together to plan a Troop Basketball Tournament. This will be a fun outdoor activity for all scouts in the troop to participate in. Please make sure you have signed up on the Google form below so thats scout can prepare and make preparations for teams and scoring (signups will close on Thursday).
Patrol Service Project Registration Form:
This link is to be used to initiate a scout service project. This requires two scouts to participate to add any details about the project (challenges, tasks, etc). Projects will cap at $100 per project.
